Stephen R. Carr has been named director of Women & Infants Hospital’s prenatal diagnosis center and maternal fetal medicine diagnostic imaging. He is an assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Brown Medical School, and is part of the fetal surgery program, where physicians perform potentially life-saving surgical procedures in utero. Carr is a graduate of Middlebury College and of the John A. Burns School of Medicine at the University of Hawaii. He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and earned a certificate of special competency in maternal fetal medicine from the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Carr is a resident of Barrington.
