Surendra Sharma, professor and researcher in Women & Infants Hospital‘s department of pediatrics and at Brown University, has been selected as one of the three researchers to receive the Terry and Louise Gregg Diabetes in Pregnancy Research Award from the American Diabetes Association. The award is for $300,000 over three years, and will be used to further Sharma’s research, entitled “Immune Programming of Gestational Diabetes.” He lives in Warwick.
