PROVIDENCE – The board of directors of Textron Inc. Wednesday declared a quarterly dividend of 38.75 cents per share on the company’s common stock.
The board also declared quarterly dividends of 52 cents per share on Textron’s $2.08 Cumulative Convertible Preferred Stock, Series A; and 35 cents per share on the company’s $1.40 Convertible Preferred Dividend Stock, Series B.

All third-quarter dividends will be paid on Jan. 1, 2007, to shareholders of record at the close of business on Dec. 15, 2006, the company said.
