Thomas Comella has been promoted to vice president and operations manager for the New England region at Gilbane Building Company. He has worked for Gilbane for 35 years and has overseen such projects for clients such as Fidelity Investments, Brown University, T.F. Green Airport, Pfizer, and the Mobil Oil headquarters in Virginia. He was the company’s Builder of the Year for New England in 1999 and is a volunteer for Rebuilding Together with Christmas in April. A graduate of Roger Williams University and the Rhode Island School of Design, he lives in Johnston with his family.
