Tiffany opens Cumberland facility

CUMBERLAND — Tiffany & Co., headquartered in New York City and among the
nation’s leading jewelry manufacturers, last week officially opened a 100,000
square foot manufacturing center here, on a 22 acre site in Highland Corporate
Park. Initially the company, which will manufacture primarily gold and sterling
silver jewelry and gift items in Rhode Island, expects to employ 200 people, eventually
growing to 400.
