Tracey Z. Poole has joined the R.I. Department of Corrections in Cranston as chief of information and public relations. She previously was public information coordinator for the Haffenreffer Museum of Anthropology at Brown University. In her new role, Poole will handle media relations, as well as write, edit and design internal and external publications, oversee the Web site, and promoe the department’s mission and programs to the wider community.
