Tricia Leddy, administrator of the Department of Human Services RIte Care program, has been named 2004 Public Official of the Year by Governing magazine. She leads the Center for Child and Family Health at the R.I. DHS. Leddy has been instrumental in obtaining private foundation funds in order to improve the programs she runs and to collect health outcome and program performance measures over time to ensure trend information is available. She and her family live in East Greenwich.
