TRW buying Network Six

WARWICK, R.I. — Network Six is being purchased by TRW, the aerospace and automotive
product giant for $3.3 million, the Providence Journal reported. Network Six is
a 25-year-old Rhode Island company that offers computer services principally to
state human service agencies. Reportedly, all of Network Six’s 100 employees will
remain with the company after the purchase and the Warwick office will be a regional
facility for TRW’s information-technology division in Reston, Virginia. TRW is
based in Cleveland, Ohio and makes various products for the automotive industry
as well as defense communications equipment and high-energy lasers.
