AAA: Gasoline prices drop again

The price of gasoline in Rhode Island continues to fall, with the average price per gallon having dropped 18 cents since early June, according to AAA Southern New England.

The auto club’s latest survey of gasoline prices in the state found the average price per gallon of self-serve, regular unleaded gasoline to be $1.60. The average price of self-serve midgrade was found to be $1.70; for premium, $1.78; and for diesel, $1.59.

The average price per gallon of full-serve, regular unleaded gasoline was found to be $1.66; for full-serve midgrade, $1.76; for premium, $1.86; and for diesel, $1.64.
