Allison McAteer, a member of the active medical staff at Landmark Medical
Center, has earned certification from the American Board of Surgery. Certification
by the Board is for general surgeons. Those who become certified also may qualify
as experts in many areas, including head and neck, vascular systems and trauma
management. A resident of Cranston, McAteer joined Landmark in 2000. She is
a graduate of Tufts Medical School and completed a residency in general surgery
at Brown University/Rhode Island Hospital.
