Allison McMillan has been elected to the board of directors of Chorus America.
She has been executive director of the Providence Singers since 2001.
She joined the Providence Singers in 1991 as a chorus member, and has served as vice president for fundraising, vice president for music, and board president.
McMillan has a bachelor’s degree from Brown University and a master’s degree from the University of Maryland in College Park, Md.
