Annie Anthony has been promoted to director of event services for the R.I. Convention Center.
In her new role, she will be responsible for managing functions, exhibits and trade shows hosted in the center, as well as for its the 2,400-car parking garage.
Anthony joined the Convention Center staff in 2000, and served most recently as its sales manager.
She has a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of New Hampshire in Durham, N.H.
