Anthony Gemma, of Gem Plumbing & Heating, was named first runner-up in the Delta Faucet Company and Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors – National Association 2004 Plumbing Contractor of the Year competition. The award recognizes excellence in the plumbing industry. Candidates are evaluated by a committee of PHCC members using a 100-point system that weighs accomplishments in six areas: professionalism, merchandising skills, management skills, innovative plumbing skills, trade involvement and community service.
