GTECH Corporation, a global supplier of systems and services to the lottery and gaming industries, has teamed up with Compaq Computer Corporation in revamping GTECH’s on-site child care center. Compaq voluntarily replaced the care center’s old computers with 10 new PCs with monitors and speakers. Located adjacent to GTECH’s world headquarters in West Greenwich, the child care center opened in 1997 and is managed by Bright Horizons. It is open to GTECH employees and parents in surrounding communities and offers programs for children six weeks to five years old.
