Dean T. Holt has been elected chair of the board of trustees at Butler Hospital in Providence. He is a retired chairman, president and CEO of Fleet-RI. Holt has been a member of the board of trustees at the hospital since 1996 and served as vice chair since 1997. He is in charge of the Steering Committee for Butler’s Campaign for Hope and Healing, which is in the process of raising $3.5 million to build a Senior Treatment Center for elderly people with memory disorders and behavioral health problems. Holt lives in West Greenwich.
