Lucette Dunlop has joined Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) as director of public safety. She will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for over 2,000 undergraduate and graduate students, 1,000 faculty and staff members, the RISD Museum, and daily guests to the campus. She previously served as interim director of public safety at RISD. Dunlop was formerly employed as director of security at Saint Francis Care in Hartford, Connecticut and manager of security operations at Prime Computer, Inc. in Natick, Mass. She received her bachelor of arts degree in political science from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York. She is a native of Greenwich, Conn. and resides in Sturbridge, Mass.
