Raymond Cordeiro has been appointed interim director of athletics, which include intramurals and recreation, at Roger Williams University in Bristol. Previously he was varsity baseball coach, equipment manager building manager and associate athletic director at the University. Cordeiro was a professional baseball player for 18 years and owned a sporting goods store. He is a lifetime member of the National Association of Professional Baseball Players and is active in many community organizations.
