George Farrell has been appointed to the board of directors of Rhode Island Association of Fire Chiefs. Chief Farrell was named Providence Fire Chief in 2007. He has served as State Fire Marshal, acting director of the City of Providence Department of Inspection and Standards, fire marshal, acting fire marshal, deputy fire marshal, lieutenant and firefighter for the Providence Fire Department.
