Pinelli
Sargent Rehabilitation Center of Warwick has appointed William S. Pinelli and Stephen P. Marra to its board of directors. Both are partners in the Pinelli-Marra Restaurant Group, which operates seven restaurants in Rhode Island. The appointments are another step in the growing relationship between Sargent and the Restaurant Group; Sargent neuro-rehabilitation clients have gone to the deli for lunch with a therapist as part of a program to work on memory, organization and problem solving. The Pinelli-Marra Group also participates in a Chef in Residence program at the Center. A chef from one of the group’s restaurants comes to the center monthly to conduct an hour-long cooking activity for a small group of adult and pediatric clients. It is a hands-on program where clients are assigned meal preparation and cooking duties by the chef.
