A.J. Rockwell has been promoted to vice president at Starkweather & Shepley,
Inc. of East Providence. His responsibilities will include sales, servicing
and marketing of commercial property and casualty insurance. Since 1997 he had
been an assistant vice president. From 1985 to 1988, he was employed as an underwriter
at Providence Mutual. Rockwell is a member of the Greater Providence Chamber
of Commerce. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island
in 1985 and a masters degree in business administration in 1993. He resides
in Rumford with his wife Michelle and their two children.
