Michael D. Jeans has joined the board of directors at Amica Mutual Insurance Company of Providence. He was formerly employed as president and chief executive officer of Roxy.com, an on-line consumer electronics merchandiser, and as chief executive officer of Nashua Photo, Inc., of New Hampshire, a multi-national consumer photo processing company. He has also been president of Trifoods International of Pomfret, Connecticut. Jeans received his undergraduate degree in mathematics from Holy Cross College in Worcester, Mass. and his master’s in marketing from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. He is a resident of Concord, Mass.
