James T. Brett

James T. Brett was named to the President’s Committee on Mental Retardation by George W. Bush. The committee acts on matters relating to programs and services for people with mental retardation. He is currently the chairman of the Massachusetts Governor’s Commission on Mental Retardation. Brett has a bachelor’s degree from American University and master’s degrees from both Suffolk University and Harvard University. He and his wife live in Dorchester, Mass.
