Jason Wessel has been appointed wine and spirits director of Gracie’s. In his new role, he will select the restaurant’s wine and cocktail offerings, pairing them with menu items and creating seasonal cocktails. Prior to working at Gracie’s, Wessel was a restaurant manager at Herons Restaurant at the Umstead hotel and Spa in Cary, N.C. He is a member of the R.I. chapter of the U.S. Bartender’s guild. •
