John (J.C.) Harrington has been elected to the board of directors on the Society of Fire Protection Engineers. In his role, he will work with the rest of the board to oversee membership, technical guidelines and standards, licensing, education and training for the society. He currently serves as assistant vice president and senior engineer technical specialist at FM Global. •
