Laserstar posts 32 percent increase

WOBURN, Mass. — Laserstar, a provider of OEM-compatible toner cartridges, refurbished office printers, and office equipment service, supplies and maintenance has posted a 32 percent increase in earnings for the year 2000. Noreen Trudel, company president attributed the increase to several factors, including the purchase of a former competitor’s company and increased demand for Laserstar’s service department which increased its revenues by 20 percent this past year, breaking the $1 million mark.
