M. Elaine Boyd has been appointed vice president of marketing at North Safety. Her responsibilities will include leading the strategic development, growth and commercialization of the company’s 13 global product lines. She previously served as global business manager at Crompton Corporation, formerly CK Witco, and as global marketing manager at Osi Specialties, Inc. of Danbury, Connecticut. Boyd earned her bachelor’s degree from Denison University in Ohio and is a member of the International Safety Equipment Association. She resides in East Greenwich with her husband Patrick and their three children.
