Michael D. Pontes has been admitted as a shareholder of Fernandes and Charest P.C. in Westport, Mass. He joined the firm in 1993 and has more than 14 years of accounting, tax and consulting experience. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. Pontes received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. He and his family live in Dartmouth, Mass.
