Michele Caprio, president of Center Place Realty and Investment Company of Cranston, has been named recipient of the Lear Award. This honor is given to distinguish an outstanding member of the Greater Providence Board of Realtors for their leadership in the real estate industry and for community involvement. Caprio was the 2004 treasurer of the board and is the 2005 president-elect. She holds the Graduate Realtor Institute designation from the National Association of Realtors. She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island. Caprio and her family live in Cranston.
