Nelson R. Teixeira has been named vice president, direct banking and E-commerce at BankNewport. Teixeira most recently served as assistant vice president, direct banking and E-commerce. He is responsible for direct banking, online banking and electronic banking, wire transfers, automated clearinghouse, remote deposit capture and merchant services. He has a B.S. in business management from Rhode Island College.
