Paul J. Long, a Providence financial consultant, has received the life insurance industry’s R. Kelly Sheridan Award from the Rhode Island Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. The honor is awarded to a member who has demonstrated leadership skills, service and ethical standards. Long is a past president of the Rhode Island Society of Financial Service Professionals and the insurance association. He was also awarded the Professional of the Year award by the financial service Society. Long is a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Roundtable. He and his wife live in Providence.
