Paula Martiesian has been named Bank Rhode Island’s gallery curator. Her duties include seeking out the work of Rhode Island artists, selecting contemporary artwork and handling the curation and installation of the pieces at the bank’s Turk’s Head and East Side Art Galleries. Martiesian co-chairs Gallery Night Providence and chairs Centercity Contemporary Arts. She is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design.
