Paula Pais has been named first vice president and chief of staff for Flagstar Bank’s recently launched New England commercial banking division. Prior to joining Flagstar, Pais served as vice president of planning and administration at Sovereign Bank. She will be responsible for strategic planning, overseeing sales and preparing financial forecasts for her division, as well as overseeing community outreach. •
