Richard Erwin has been named to the board of directors at Visiting Nurse Services of Newport & Bristol Counties. Erwin had most recently served as the lead for anti-terrorism and force protection and strategic planner for the war on terror, irregular warfare and homeland security at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Newport until his retirement in 2009. He currently volunteers with VNS of Newport & Bristol Counties. •
