Sally Proto has been promoted to senior vice president/district manager in in-store banking for Rhode Island and southern Massachusetts at Citizens Bank. She joined the bank in 1997 and most recently held the position of sales director in business banking and Rhode Island retail banking. Proto is a community services board member of the United Way of Rhode Island and is on the financial council of St. Mary of the Bay. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Bryant College and her master’s degree from the University of Connecticut. Proto is a resident of Bristol.
