Stephen J. Gibbons has been promoted to chief lending officer at Bank Rhode Island. He is responsible for oversight of all lending functions and cash management operations. He previously headed the bank’s real estate lending group. He is a member of the Greater Cranston Chamber of Commerce and the Rhode Island Builders Association. Gibbons serves on the board of directors of Polaris Management. He is a graduate of Bryant College. He lives in Cranston
