Scott Hightower has been promoted to vice president of consumer broadband services at Cox Communications New England. He will be responsible for the long-term strategic development and growth of Cox’s residential telephone and data businesses throughout New England. He joined Cox Communications in 1989 in the company’s New Orleans, Louisiana system, and most recently served as director of consumer broadband services in New England. Hightower graduated from Loyola University with a bachelor of arts in communications and a secondary concentration in business administration. He is active in the Rhode Island chapter of the American Marketing Association and the Cable Television Administration and Marketing Society. He resides in East Greenwich.
