Tiffany R. Sy has been named senior vice president and controller at Bank Rhode Island. In the position, Sy will be responsible for SEC-reporting and accounting functions. Previously she served as an audit manager at Ernst and Young, where her clients included Fortune 500 and mid-market companies. She has a B.A. in accounting from Johnson & Wales University. •
