Walter DeSocio has been named vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary of GTECH Holdings Corp. He is responsible for management and oversight of all company legal functions and serves as corporate secretary to GTECH’s board of directors. DeSocio previously worked as chief administrative officer, general counsel and corporate secretary for Internap Network Services Corp. in Atlanta. He is a member of the New York Bar Association. He received a bachelor’s degree from Colgate University and a juris doctor from New York Law School. He is a graduate of Corpus Christi College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, England.
