Washington Trust board increases dividend

WESTERLY, R.I., — The board of directors of Washington Trust Bancorp, Inc. has declared a quarterly dividend of 13 cents per share for the quarter ending March 31, payable April 13 to shareholders of record on March 29. The dividend is an 8 percent increase over the 12 cents per share paid in each of the previous four quarters, and marks the ninth consecutive year of increased dividends, the company said.
