William Clark of Portsmouth was recently hired as director of business development for the Town of Portsmouth. The position is dedicated to the encouragement of business retention and growth in Portsmouth in order to balance the rapid residential growth that the town has seen in the past 20 years. Clark served in the U.S. Navy and graduated from Central Michigan University. He has served on the Portsmouth Tax Assessment Board of Review as vice-chairman for 5 years.
