William Lawrence has been named assistant vice president for FMApprovals, a business unit of FM Global. In his new role, Lawrence is responsible for testing and certifying electrical products that prevent property loss. Previously, Lawrence was the principle engineer for the hazardous locations group at FM Approvals, where he has served for more than 20 years. He has a B.A. from Pennsylvania State University. •
