Carlos A. Viana has been promoted to assistant vice president of security at BayCoast Bank. Viana will serve as a liaison between the bank and the law enforcement authorities regarding investigations of internal and external fraud and suspicious activities. Previously, he served as branch manager and assistant treasurer. Viana holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Roger Williams University. •
