David J. Correira has been appointed to the position of chairperson of the University of Rhode Island’s professional advisory committee for the URI Foundation. He will serve a three-year term. Correira serves as a partner in his law firm Correira & Iacono LLP. He has a B.A. in communications and political science from Bridgewater State College, an M.A. in public administration from URI and a J.D. from New England Law. •
