Listed at $6.99 million, the property at 55 Ferry Road has a 10-bedroom manor house that dates to 1890, six full bathrooms and three half-baths. Additional buildings include a carriage house, a gatehouse, stables and a garage that could accommodate 11 cars. An in-ground pool is set within a walled garden.
The post-and-beam carriage house, itself 3,652 square feet, includes four bedrooms, two full baths and a half-bath. It was built in the 1990s. The gatehouse, originally built as accommodations for a chauffeur, is 1,855 square feet and has four bedrooms and two baths.
The estate, until recently, was owned by the late Stanley Livingston and his wife, Martha Nicholson Livingston. The property had been purchased by her father in 1920.
An avid yachtsman, Stanley Livingston was a former commodore of the Cruising Club of America, according to Alyce Wright, the listing agent, for Lila Delman Real Estate International.
