Valerie A. Eastwood has been promoted to vice president of loan operations at The Washington Trust Co. She is responsible for loan operations functions for commercial, mortgage and consumer loans, as well as training, coaching and developing staff. She joined the bank in 1987 in the loan operations department. She was promoted to loan operations officer in 2001 and then assistant vice president in 2003. •
